This blog documents the travel adventures and musings of Airstream Life magazine editor & publisher Rich Luhr—that’s me—from 2009 through 2019.
“Man In The Maze” follows an earlier travel blog, Airstream Life’s Tour of America, which documented three years of full-time Airstream travel with my family. The archives of all three years are still available, along with thousands of photos.
During the active years of this blog I traveled in a 2005 Airstream Safari LS, the 30-foot “bunkhouse” model. Earlier I also had a 1968 Airstream Caravel which was restored over a period of nearly a decade. If you want to know about the tow vehicle I used, read these posts.
These days I’m still traveling, and from time to time I may update this blog with new thoughts, but not as often as before.
In addition to publishing Airstream Life magazine and running the online Airstream Life Store, I co-founded R&B Events (producers of Alumapalooza and other events), and wrote various Airstream-related books. I don’t work for Airstream Inc., but they are great people to be affiliated with.
